为聚焦应用语言学领域开放科学（Open Science）实践的新动态，促进高质量验证性研究和教学实践及研究的开展，提升在国际期刊上发表研究成果的能力，亚星游戏官网868、重庆市重点人文社科基地“语言认知及语言应用研究基地”于2021年举办“应用语言学的开放科学与验证性研究”系列讲座，邀请SSCI期刊的主编、审稿人、国际知名学者和基金项目主持人担任主讲，通过在线会议的方式，与国内应用语言学研究人员、外语教师、教师发展实践与研究人员进行交流和讨论。

“帮助南亚国家的教师了解研究，改变资源匮乏地区的英语学习现状”
主讲人：Dr. Bimali Indrarathne，University of York
内容简介：
在大多数南亚国家的外语教育背景下，英语教师获得的资源有限，也很少接触到关于有效教学的前沿研究证据。 在英国约克大学应对全球挑战研究基金项目中，我们与孟加拉国、尼泊尔、巴基斯坦和斯里兰卡的英语专家和教师培训人士合作，根据从OASIS语言研究概要开放资源库（https://oasis-database.org，由约克大学教育系主导）中获取的关于语言教育的高质量研究概要，开发了一套英语教学材料样本，并将这些教学材料推介给了大约500名斯里兰卡的英语教师。我们收到了教师们非常积极的反馈，他们尤其赞赏使用OASIS概要中的理据来解释材料中的教学活动目的。 在这个讲座中，我将介绍我们如何使用OASIS概要来设计英语教学材料，以及本项目的成果。
In most South Asian contexts, English language teachers work with few resources and minimal access to cutting-edge research evidence on effective teaching. Under this project, we worked with English language experts and teacher trainers in Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and developed a set of sample English language teaching materials based on open accessible summaries of high-quality research on language education from OASIS (led by the Department of Education,University of York)https://oasis-database.org/.The materials were then introduced to ca. 500 teachers in Sri Lanka. We have received very positive feedback from teachers, they particularly liked the rationales we used from OASIS summaries to explain the purpose of activities in the materials. In this talk, I will discuss how we used the OASIS summaries to design English language teaching materials and the outcomes of the project.

Bimali Indrarathne博士，英国约克大学教育系语言学习与应用研究中心讲师，主要研究方向为二语习得。Indrarathne博士在Studies in Second Language Acquisition, Language Learning, Bilingualism: Language and Cognition等SSCI期刊上发表数篇论文，并担任Studies in Second Language Acquisition, Language Learning, Teaching and Teacher Education, TESOL Quarterly, Language Testing, Dyslexia and International Journal of Applied Linguistics等期刊的审稿人。
Indrarathne博士是约克大学应对全球挑战研究基金项目和多个南亚地区教师教育项目的主持人，项目内容涉及英语教材设计、语言教学中的包容性实践和学术英语。她致力于通过国际合作交流，将开放科学资源介绍给南亚国家的语言教师，帮助推动欠发达国家和地区外语教育的发展。她也是一位经验丰富的英语老师。
